the dream of the 90s

I am so grateful to have grown up in the 90s.

Every year on my birthday, my mom gifted me with the ultimate mall experience. Walking up and down the shops, picking out a new outfit, getting a fresh cut and stopping at the food court for the best meal of my life…there was only one thing left to do.

I would then take my new personality to get a portrait.

I’ve now been a portrait and wedding photographer for over a decade and every year I promise myself I will do a 90’s inspired photo experience as tribute to my childhood.

The goal of these pop ups is to bring a little distraction and joy in the form of curated sets and styles at an affordable price in a fun setting.

I know getting in front of a camera can feel strange and it’s easy to talk yourself out of it. But life is short and so am I.

My hope in doing these pop ups is that people will use it as an opportunity to document a fleeting time in a very unserious way. I love the idea of pairing different technical approaches with a casual setting such as a “photo booth.”
